Team India completed a dominant 3-1 series win over Australia in the five-match Test series, with the fourth Test ending in a comprehensive innings victory at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

India's bowling attack, led by Jasprit Bumrah who claimed his 200th Test wicket during the series, dismantled the Australian batting lineup twice in Sydney. Bumrah finished with match figures of 10/89 to earn the Player of the Match award.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was the standout batsman of the series, amassing 712 runs including three centuries, earning the Player of the Series award. The 22-year-old left-hander was particularly dominant on the front foot, using the extra bounce to devastating effect.

Captain Rohit Sharma, who missed the final Test due to injury, was present at the presentation ceremony and praised his team. "This is a perfect team effort. Everyone contributed. Bumrah was phenomenal but look at Jaiswal, look at how Siraj bowled, it was just beautiful cricket," he said.

The win means India retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and extend their unbeaten record in Test series against Australia to five consecutive series. India also move to the top of the ICC World Test Championship table.

Australian captain Pat Cummins said he was "bitterly disappointed" but acknowledged India's dominance. "They played better cricket across the whole series. We have to go back and work hard."
